Hi! We arrived in Beijing after 10p last night and were very tired. Slept well on a soft bed (first soft one we have had in all our trips to China!) We are now refreshed and ready to head on to Nanchang. $30 for buffet breakfast this morning seemed a bit high, so we opted to get room service - first time we've known room service to be more economical! There was fresh fruit in our room when we arrived and Mary has enjoyed every last piece! Temple oranges, crisp apple and banana - have to keep those vitamins strong!
Hey Cait and Grace - I (mom) got to see PofC 2 last night on the way from Tokyo to Beijing - it was good - but you were right it sort of leaves you hanging! Glad I didn't have any nightmares last night with squirmy snakes on my face - yuck! Hope you two are having a great time at the party!
Steve - got your note - glad Nate and Juls are doing well. Don't spoil them, though! We should arrive in Nanchang after 2pm today (saturday) and have the day to ourselves. Keep praying for soft tender hearts for us and Sarabeth - and that she is well prepared for this new step in her life! Less than 30 hours to go before we meet her face to face!

Took Nate and Jules to Philip's BB game @ Ventura. They had fun for about ten minutes and then were ready to go home. Lynn took them home after the first of three games and they played for the rest of the evening.

Hay, The girls and I had a grate time at the party(which I'm sure you will hear about). Nate got me the other day with a leg hug, which put me in a fit of giggles. We all miss you, parying for you.
